Providing Friendly Care for the elderly

History

Brookvale Healthcare was established over 30 years ago with the purchase and establishment of Brookvale House in Southampton, Hampshire. Over the years, our group has slowly grown to today include 11 Care Homes and 400 beds across the South Coast of England in Hampshire and Essex with its 12th home, Mary Rose Manor, a purpose built home nearing completion in Copnor, Portsmouth at the site of the Copnor Fire Station. We are relacing one building with a new iconic building.

Each home upon acquisition by Brookvale Healthcare has undergone an evaluative process to ensure it meets standards acceptable to our organization. Firstly, the care offered in the home has been evaluated and compared with standards of care within our organization. Subsequently, our staff have been offered and undergone necessary training so they are equipped with the skill set to deliver high standards of care to our residents.   Lastly, the environment of the home itself has been upgraded to include a full refurbishment of the building so that our residents are able to reside in homes with high level of ambience and comfort.

In late 2006, Brookvale Healthcare joined the Hampshire Care Association and one of our Senior Managers, Mr Jabir Nathu, was elected to its executive committee.  The HCA works diligently to promote the interests of the care sector in Hampshire and Brookvale Healthcare is very proud to be amongst its active supporters.

2015 is our 30th year and is another milestone in the history of Brookvale Healthcare where we go from strength to strength.

During this year we have opened our new purpose built 50 bed Nursing Home in Portsmouth, Mary Rose Manor. This building is set to be an iconic building for the Portsmouth residents.
