My family took the view that care ratings are all very well as a guide but we needed to see for ourselves what was being offered. We are so glad that we did. What we saw when we visited and in the last few weeks that my husband has been a resident makes an absolute farce of the care ratings. This home should be rated very good or even better!
The home is clean and comfortable and always welcoming. We have been offered a choice of decoration for his room which is also kept clean and tidy. The staff work constantly to support and stimulate residents. My husband was greeted by everyone when he arrived and even his smallest whim was anticipated. He is always clean and neatly dressed. He is still settling in but is already more relaxed and looking healthier than previously thanks to good feeding.
I am always informed immediately if anything changes or if there is the smallest concern about him.
I have no hesitation in recommending this nursing home. It far surpasses many with higher ratings.
